In an effort to get our crafty juices flowing and celebrate Thanksgiving, Will and I made an Indian headdress, his "feathers" or "Indian hat." He desperately misses the arts and crafts he enjoyed at school, so I am desperately trying to come up with ideas to keep him entertained, content and interested. We really had fun making this. He had lots of fun coloring his feathers and practicing his Indian call!

Also this weekend, Chris' dad retired from the Army. Henry was honored with a very nice ceremony & a tribute for his commitment to the army and our country. It was a very special ceremony followed by a great party! It was so good to see the friends and family who traveled near & far.
I successfully posted my first video! Take a look....

Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

What a GREAT mom! It's fun to do holiday crafts with the kiddos. You can find some great ideas on the web. A few years ago, we made "Pumpkin Pie Playdough" and invited a bunch of friends over. A few weeks later we had a Christmas card making playdate. You're TOTALLY getting the hang of being a SAHM! :)
