Please keep this sweet family in your prayers. Monica was BFF Dawn's roommate in college. She and her husband Doug are wonderful people who welcomed their sweet baby boy into this world earlier this month......
Thank you all for your prayers! Baby Bryce is doing better. He is still in NICU and may be for a while. As of yet he has very little gag reflex. So, he is still on a feeding tube. They test him every few days to see if he is improving. Last test he failed 9 out of 10 times but that is improvement. They also weened him off of his seizure medicine. This was a couple of days ago and it takes a few days to completely leave his little system. So, hopefully the seizures are done. If not, they plan to find a medicine that leaves him less sedated. From his MRI they did find damage on the left side of his brain. But only time will tell how this will manifest. It could be nothing ever or reveal itself in a serious disability. So, please continue to pray for this family as they are living at a "home" five minutes from the hospital with really no end in sight. They are making the best of the situation and are very hopeful.
