4 month stats

And here we are, 4 months old, Miss Audrey Marie. This series of pics makes me laugh because it shows just how she won't sit still these days. (Well, kinda.) Talking, laughing, smiling, grabbing (hair, jewelry, anything), rolling, sweet kisses, trying to keep up with Big Brother Will, so busy! She's not so keen on being put in her blue bouncy chair anymore. She prefers to have free range of motion, moving about as she pleases, very content on her sunshine birdie mat that she loves to scoot & roll off of. She has a few favorites: her hands, her feet, Madame Butterfly, a green dog and a blue peacock. Give her those, and she's happy. She prefers a concert session by Will to put her to sleep, no kidding. She will fall asleep best with drums, harmonica, fluteaphone, & singing rather than silence. Chris makes fun of me because I thought Will was such a good sleeper. He would sleep a couple of hours at a time & I thought that was great; Audrey sleeps for 8 hours!! When she's hungry, she lets us know. She gets really excited when she sees her bottle! So hard to believe that it's already time to start with cereal?!?! Fun fruits & veggies in no time.

This month she's weighing in at 12 pounds and measuring 24 1/2". I know I shouldn't compare my children, but at 4 months Will was a pound less and an inch longer!!

And today, during Audrey's 4 month check up, Will got the H1N1 vaccine. It was SUCH an ordeal for him, that we went to a nearby bakery afterwards and had a big brownie! I am dreading going back next month (if they have it) for the second dose.....let's just say there was a second nurse called in to help hold him down!! Bless his sweet little heart. (Notice the cape he's wearing?! He wore it all day today. When the nurse came to the waiting room to get us, she said "Hi Superman!" Will's response was, "I'm not Superman, I'm Will.")
