Easter Egg Time

Happy Easter, come and gone! Despite the early morning rain and monsoon during church, it was a beautiful day, perfect for a few Easter egg hunts. Saturday we celebrated Easter at Mimi & Bubba's and then on Sunday the Easter Bunny visited our house. One more Easter egg hunt at Chris' Aunt Martha's and we called it a day. We attended two church services: first on Saturday evening to witness our nephew Hayden's First Communion & Baptism. He was so proud, as were we of him! And on Sunday we attended Klein UMC. Will LOVES going to church! He is always on the lookout for the piano, violin and the "people singing." He wants to know the whole time when we're going to sing some more....he even sings along!

Decorating Easter Eggs for the Easter Bunny. Not knowing Will's attention span for painting eggs, he only decorated 1/2 a dozen, but could have (and wanted to) painted more. Next year!

Easter Egg Hunt at Mimi & Bubba's. And after such an exhausting hunt, the guys take a break for a beer.

Easter morning the rain stopped just long enough to hunt for eggs on the patio. Thank goodness the Easter bunny hid the eggs before the rain really came down.
